The JDR Quartz 12 hole chromatic harmonica has a 3 full octave range, and can play 48 notes. Most chromatics have plastic windsavers that prevent the expressive bending you can get on a diatonic, but the Quartz only has a few windsavers that it absolutely needs, leaving most of the notes bendable and beautifully expressive.
