If you’re a harmonica player, you don’t want miss the fun, the learning, and the camaraderie that you’ll experience at the best, biggest harmonica gathering in the USA! Most of the harmonica factories in the world exhibit at the convention, and we’ll be there with our Bushman and JDR harmonicas.
Knittlingen Mundharmonika Festival
September 25 – 26, 2026 in Knittlingen, Germany
Bushman Music Works will host a free gathering of harmonica fans in Knittlingen, Germany on Friday and Saturday, September 25th and 26th, 2026. On Friday evening at 6:30pm we will meet for drinks and visiting at the Gasthaus Faust in Knittlingen, and then watch the Mundharmonika Orchester of Knittlingen rehearse at 8:00pm. This gathering is to honor the rich and important harmonica legacy of Knittlingen, and to remember the double reed harmonica inventor Matthias Friedrich Hotz, as well Peter Pohl, and all the other great Knittlingen harmonica entrepreneurs who did so much for the instrument we enjoy today.
On Saturday at 6:00pm we will meet in front of the Melanchthonhaus in Bretten to enjoy the Bretten Wine Market at 6:00pm for wine tasting and live music. Questions? Call 269-858-8773.
Mayfest Harmonica Party
Friday 4-30-27 thru Saturday 5-1-27 in Shipshewana, Indiana
Every year we host a free gathering of harmonica players and fans in the Wolfe Building which is the Shipshewana Townhall located at 345 Morton St, Shipshewana, IN 46565. We will be set up there on Friday 4-30-27 1pm – 7pm, and on Saturday 5-1-27 1pm – 5pm. This event is informal and relaxed, EVERYONE is invited – admission is free, we jam together and swap playing tips, we have our entire line of Bushman harmonicas on hand for folks to try, plus we exhibit over 1,000 of our Bushman harmonicas at the lowest prices of the year. It’s our chance to give back to a great community that buys a lot of harmonicas from us. Shipshewana is Amish country so come ready to eat!
