The Scout features the first 7 holes of a standard 10-hole diatonic harmonica, preserving the notes and chords used most often while eliminating the highest register. The result is a remarkably compact instrument that still feels familiar and natural to play.
Unlike comparable compact harmonicas that offer only a limited selection of keys, the Bushman Scout is available in 8 major keys—2 more than competing models—giving players greater flexibility for every musical situation.

The Bushman Scout™ harmonicas are being shipped from our factory, and aren’t in our hands yet. We expect them to arrive around July 24th, 2026, and we will have them on display at the 2026 SPAH Convention in St Louis, MO.
