The Knittlinger is an amazing, durable harmonica, but sometimes people break the 3 rules of harmonica care, and need new reed plates: 1.) They don’t brush their teeth before playing, aka they play dirty, or 2.) They blow/draw harder than is required to make it sing. Blowing too hard on a good harmonica will kill the reeds, or 3.) They share their Knittlinger other people who break the 2 previous rules. Sharing a harmonica is not a health risk, but it’s the same as signing its death certificate! And then there’s the people who just love to play their Knittlinger so they play long and often, and eventually they wear it out. So for the rule breakers and Knitty lovers, we offer these replacement reed plates. Keys: Low A, Low Bb, Low C, and Low D.
